HTBLuVA
The St. Pölten HTBLuVA offers specialist courses in

• “Mechanical Engineering”,
• “Electrical Engineering”,
• “Electronics”,
• „Computing and Organisation", as well as
• “Industrial Engineering and Management”

While the Technical Schools specialize in

• “Electrical Engineering”,
• „Electronics with Computer Engineering", as well as
• “Engines- and Production Technology”.

The training can take place in the day school, in evening classes for people who are working (Automation Technology and Electrical Engineering) or in the Technical School.

Federal Commercial Academy (HAK)
The twin educational focuses of the St. Pölten HAK are information technology (IT HAK), and foreign languages (E-HAK). In addition to doing the commercial training and general education programme, students doing the IT course receive additional instruction in information technology and management. In the E-HAK programme, many subjects are taught in English. In addition, an evening school for people who are working and the Commercial School training programme have been running at the St. Pölten HAK since 1980.

Federal Higher School of Commercial Professions and the Federal Vocational School of Social Professions
In addition to the general education curriculum, the lesson plan at the St. Pölten HLW encompasses commercial, specialized theoretical and practical subjects, and compulsory periods of practical training. Particular attention is given to job-related foreign language learning. A further focus is the training of students’ capacity to solve organizational problems at the operational level, to work in a team and to lead staff.
