NÖBEG - Lower Austrian Capital Investment Company

NÖBEG are two specialist banks owned by the State of Lower Austria/the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce and by the majority holders, the major Austrian commercial banks.

Their role is consultancy and support for small and medium-sized commercial enterprises (SMEs) with financing transactions by the provision of investment funds for a limited period and assumption of liability.

RIS Regional Innovation System

In the context of the regional innovation strategy five core areas have been developed which today form the cornerstones of the regional innovation system and under which the specific programmes are coordinated. The development of the regional innovation system in Lower Austria is now continued by the RIS++/Innovative Measures EU programme.

ERP Funds

The ERP Funds are to be seen as a customer-orientated service organisation for subsidies in Austria. Their central concern is, apart from support for goals of technology policy, above all to permit and support the application and implementation of the latest technologies in Austrian companies. As well as support for technology in the context of the research and technology support programmes, the investment support in the context of the regional and SME programmes is also set up in a technologically orientated manner.
